The second video is a video I shot in the spring of 2009. Alex Heck, A young woman who questioned the Global Warming hysteria. She was 15 at the time and took considerable flak both from her teachers and fellow students. She stayed strong and hosted her own radio show on The Real Public Radio

Sylvia Jones Introduces Bill to Ensure Local Say in Wind Energy Projects

(Queen’s Park) –“Today I introduced a bill at the Legislature to give Ontario municipalities and local residents a voice in the planning of wind energy projects,” said Sylvia Jones, MPP (Dufferin-Caledon).
Under the Liberal’s Green Energy Act, 2009, new wind projects will be built with no municipal planning control and limited public input. Jones wants to restore the traditional municipal planning oversight role with her Planning Amendment Act (Renewable Energy Undertakings), 2010.
“The Progressive Conservative Party and I raised concerns about the Green Energy Act from the very beginning,” said Jones. “My private members bill will return the power for planning renewable energy projects to municipalities who can be responsive to the needs of the community.”
“Municipalities know what works best for them,” said Jones. “The planning process is not new. Municipal planning has worked well in the past, and if given the opportunity can work well in the future. The voices of our communities and concerned Ontarians should not be shut down.”
Jones’ bill amends the Planning Act to reverse the effect of the amendments made to the Planning Act by Schedule K to the Green Energy Act, 2009. Those amendments exempted renewable energy undertakings from the normal application of the Planning Act, including policy statements, provincial plans, official plans, demolition control by-laws, zoning by-laws and development permit regulations and by-laws.
“The Green Energy Act shows little respect to municipalities and Ontario families,” said Jones. “I want to give residents across Ontario the power to refine renewable energy projects for their community.”

Having run as an Independent in the 2007 Ont. Provincial election and knowing the contents of the Conservative election platform, understanding this email is easy. It’s called “controlled opposition”.
The Politicians understand that the average voter is………well, dumber than a box of rocks.
Especially when you consider – the Conservatives promised to install more wind than the Liberals, if elected
So, why would any Conservative member come out against a piece of legislation they would have more than likely implemented themselves?

The people were angry, rightfully so, and they threw out Harris and his band of Agenda21/NWO criminals.
McGuinty and the Liberals promised to make things right if elected. Instead they continued to carry out Agenda 21/NWO.
Today, nearing the end of the Liberals second term, the people of Ont. are angry once again and can’t wait to throw out McGuinty and his band of Agenda 21/NWO criminals.
Now we have the Conservatives offering hope to those who’ve been treated with disrespect by the Liberals.
The people of Ontario will elect the Conservatives in 2011, likely with a majority.
And guess what – the Conservatives will continue moving Agenda 21/NWO forward.

-yes, finally someone with a bit of common sense.
-I appreciate this effort, but this does not ensure that municipalities will site turbines at distances that can safeguard people. Just have a look at the Town or Essex who allowed 450 metres prior to the GEA. Nor does it ensure that a proper cost benefit analysis is done before such projects are undertaken within a municipality or that the proponent are reputable businesses upon which residents can trust to follow through with their promises. Many are nothing short of snake oil salesmen
-I have to echo ruralgrubby here. Our township is very pro wind, for several stupid reasons. They were supportive of moratoriums eleswhere…just not in their township! Yeah, try try reasoning with that. Although restoring some local decision making is positive, industrial wind turbines do not belong anywhere…I want to see a bill introduced that says that.
-A very GOOD step in the RIGHT direction.

Prominent NASA global warming alarmist Dr. James Hansen has endorsed an eco-fascist book that calls for cities to be razed to the ground, industrial civilization to be destroyed and genocidal population reduction measures to be implemented in the name of preventing climate change.
Hansen, who was back in the news today commenting on a NASA press release that claims the last decade was the warmest on record, said that Keith Farnish, author of a new book called Time’s Up, is correct in calling for acts of sabotage and environmental terrorism in blowing up dams and demolishing cities in order to return the planet to the agrarian age.
Hansen is a key figure in the global warming movement, for it was his 1988 with testimony to a US Senate committee chaired by Al Gore that really got the ball rolling for the elite in their mission to hijack the environmental movement and promote apocalyptic fears of climate change as a means of seizing absolute power over humanity.
Author Farnish “believes – as the Hon Sir Jonathon Porritt does – that mankind is a blot on the landscape and that breeding (or for that matter, existence) should be discouraged,” writes James Delingpole.
“The only way to prevent global ecological collapse and thus ensure the survival of humanity is to rid the world of Industrial Civilization,” writes Farnish, adding that “people will die in huge numbers when civilization collapses”.
Farnish echoes similar talking points to those featured in White House science czar John Holdren’s Ecoscience textbook, which called for a “planetary regime” to carry out forced abortions and mandatory sterilization procedures, as well as drugging the water supply, in an effort to cull the human surplus.
Farnish explains his desire to see rampant population reduction in the name of saving the planet.

TORONTO — Families in several provinces were expressing outrage and concern Tuesday after they said their children got double the recommended dose of the H1N1 vaccine, but at least one medical expert said there’s little need for concern.
Parents in Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia have reported that their children received the amount in the adult dose instead of the pediatric dose of the swine flu shot.
The Public Health Agency of Canada has received reports of the wrong dose being given out to children but cannot provide exact figures, said spokeswoman Nadia Mostafa, who referred the question to provincial health ministries.
The agency’s guidelines call for adults to receive 0.5 ml in a single shot of the adjuvanted vaccine. The recommendation for children between six months of age to nine years is two half doses at least three weeks apart.
A stressed-out father in Delta, B.C., urged parents to check the dose themselves before their children get the shot. Jeevan Tauro said his three-year-old daughter and 17-month-old son were given the 0.5 ml dose at a Burnaby walk-in clinic Nov. 3.
In a telephone interview from his home Tuesday, Tauro said he asked the doctor if they should return to the clinic three weeks later to get the second half of the flu shot, but the doctor told him not to.
The doctor said there was only one shot and no subsequent vaccination, “so that raised my doubts (as to) what he had actually done,” said Tauro.
The receptionist told him his children had received the full adult dose, he said.
Tauro said his son Ruhin developed a fever the next day, and suffered a seizure four days later and was rushed to hospital. He said a pediatrician told him two days later that Ruhin’s high fever was related to the flu shot and that the fever had caused the seizure.

Greenpeace leader Gerd Leipold has been forced to admit that his organization issued misleading and exaggerated information when it claimed that Arctic ice would disappear completely by 2030, in a crushing blow for the man-made global warming movement.
In an interview with the BBC’s Stephen Sackur on the “Hardtalk” program, Leipold initially attempted to evade the question but was ultimately forced to admit that Greenpeace had made a “mistake” when it said Arctic ice would disappear completely in 20 years.
The claim stems from a July 15 Greenpeace press release entitled “Urgent Action Needed As Arctic Ice Melts,” in which it is stated that global warming will lead to an ice-free Arctic by 2030.
Sackur accused Leipold and Greenpeace of releasing “misleading information” based on “exaggeration and alarmism,” pointing out that it was “preposterous” to claim that the Greenland ice sheet, a mass of 1.6 million square kilometers with a thickness of 3 km in the middle that has survived much warmer periods in history, would completely melt when it had stood firm for hundreds of thousands of years.
